Featuring deep green foliage that emerges early in spring and feathery plumes that appear in early summer with a pinkish purple tint, eventually maturing into a golden tan or wheat like colour that stays throughout the winter. Performs best in full sun, at least 6 hours daily, to maintain its upright form but can benefit from partial afternoon shade to prevent stress.
Overdam Feather Reed Grass is a variegated ornamental grass known for its striking upright habit and year round visual appeal. Featuring narrow, green leaves with crisp creamy white margins that may take on a pinkish tint in spring or under cool conditions. In early summer, it produces feathery plumes that start pinkish purple and mature into stiff, golden wheat coloured seed spikes.
