The leaves are thick, waxy, and dark green, providing a glossy appearance throughout the summer. This thickness makes them resistant to "leaf tatter" caused by wind and burning during drought. This variety features a spectacular display, with leaves turning brilliant shades of red, orange, and golden yellow in the fall. Thrives in full sun to achieve the most intense fall colours, though it can tolerate part shade.
