Tecumseh Plum
Description
The Tecumseh Plum is a highly productive, cold hardy hybrid developed to thrive in northern climates. It features medium sized, round fruit with bright red to deep purple skin, juicy, firm flesh that can range from red to golden yellow and a white bloom. Fruit typically ripens in late August to mid September, however, it does not store for long periods. This variety requires a cross pollinator to set fruit which include the Canadian Plum, Brookgold, Toka, or Wild American Plum. Plant in full sun for best results.
