Red Gemini Apple
Description
The Red Gemini Apple is a cold hardy apple developed in Saskatchewan. The tree features clusters of white flowers with a hint of pink that emerge from red flower buds in mid spring. The early to mid season apple, typically ripening in late August or early September, is medium to large and has crimson skin over a yellow green base. Apples from this variety can be stored for 2–3 months in a cool place or refrigerator or used for fresh eating, cooking or baking. Requires another compatable apple or crabapple tree variety nearby to produce fruit. For highest yield and best bloom, plant in full sun.
