Description
The Dolgo crabapple is a highly hardy, versatile ornamental and fruit bearing tree, known for its early spring display of fragrant white blossoms and vibrant, edible red fruit. In early spring, the tree is covered in fragrant, large white blooms that start as distinct pink buds. It produces abundant, oval shaped red fruit that ripens in late summer. This variety features a rounded, upright form with dark green leaves, making it excellent for landscaping, jelly making, and pollinating other apple trees. Perfers full sun but will tolerate part shade.
